Professional Ethics Code

I understand that safety is of the utmost importance to you. There are unscrupulous practitioners out there who pass themselves off as experts. To help alleviate your concerns and create the highest level of safety I can, I have posted my privacy statement and my Ethical Guidelines & Code of Conduct below. 

I have a FREE 60-minute Discovery call and I’m am happy to have conversations with you where you can ask me any question you need to feel more comfortable with the work we are potentially embarking. I will repeat frequently and attest to your agency with regard to this work.

Ethical Guidelines & Code of Conduct

1. Client Sovereignty and Autonomy

  • Client-Led Direction: All work I perform is based entirely on your expressed needs and desires. I recognize that these can change in the moment; your current comfort and goals always take precedence over the original plan.

  • Professional Neutrality: My primary role is to support your journey. My own personal desires or preferences have no place in our sessions and do not influence the work we do.

  • Informed Consent: I provide clear information about all techniques so you can make empowered decisions. We will maintain an active, ongoing dialogue regarding consent throughout our time together.

  • Right to Refuse: You are never required or coerced to participate in any activity. You have the absolute right to shift, pause, or end any practice at any time.

2. Professional Integrity

  • Scope of Practice: I represent my training and qualifications honestly. I will only provide services for which I am sufficiently prepared and will refer you to other professionals when your needs fall outside my expertise.

  • Sobriety: Sessions are always conducted free from the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs, ensuring a safe and present environment for both parties.

  • Termination of Service: I will conclude professional services when they no longer serve your needs or interests.

3. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Strict Privacy: I protect and preserve the privacy of all information shared during our sessions.

  • Written Authorization: I will only release information with your explicit written consent, or as required by law.

  • Anonymity: If used for research or supervision purposes, your identity will always remain completely anonymous.

4. Professional Standards

  • Accountability: I adhere to the highest ethical standards of my profession. I participate in regular supervision and peer consultation to ensure the continued quality and integrity of my practice.

  • Honest Representation: My marketing and descriptions of services are designed to be accurate and realistic, avoiding unjustified expectations or false claims.
